Markets in Napoli

Rome's best-known market is the Mercato di Campo de' Fiori, every morning except Sunday. Under the statue of Giordano Bruno you find fruit, vegetables, spices and a few stalls aimed at tourists. For a more genuine neighbourhood market, try the new covered Testaccio market, where street-food counters sit beside the grocery stalls. On Sunday mornings, Porta Portese hosts the big flea market, with second-hand clothes, odds and ends and bric-a-brac. The markets on this page come from imported data: days and hours change, so check before you go.

The centre is easy to cover on foot; the planner puts the stops in order around the time you have.

Your browser will ask to share your location

It's only used to work out how many minutes' walk you are from each place open right now.

  • We only use it to work out distances, and we don't keep it. If you share a walk, its starting point in the link is rounded to about 100 metres.
  • No account, no history, no notifications.
  • Rather not? Pick the city yourself: it works just as well.
