Terms of use
The terms for using nowvis.it. The service is free and needs no account.
In effect from 6 October 2026.
Who provides the service

What it offers
Walking itineraries and place listings, built from open data, our own checking and information from owners. It is a tool to find your way, not a guarantee that a place is open or that a walk takes exactly the time shown.
Hours, distances and times
Opening hours can change without notice, and some are not verified: when that is the case we say so. Walking minutes are estimates.
If you have something you cannot miss, such as a ship, a train or a flight, leave a margin and check the times at the source. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for delays, closures or costs caused by inaccurate information.
Text written by AI
The text that describes a walk is written by a language model and checked against the plan's data. It can still be inaccurate: when in doubt, the plan's times and distances are what count.
Fair use
Do not send false reports, do not claim businesses you do not run, and do not try to get around the anti-abuse checks or overload the service. We may block requests that do.
Claimed listings
If you claim a listing, you confirm that you are entitled to manage that business. We review every request before approving it, and may refuse or revoke it if the details do not add up.
Data and licences
Place data comes from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence) and Overture Maps; some descriptions from Wikipedia (CC BY-SA licence); the map from OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles. They remain under their own licences. Original text, code and the NowVisit name belong to Cristian Cosenza.
External links
Listings may link to the places' own websites or to other services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the version in effect. How we handle data is explained in the privacy notice.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts where you live have jurisdiction over disputes; otherwise the ordinary rules on jurisdiction apply.
