Street food in Milano

Street food in Milan is quick, a standing lunch break, and its symbol is the panzerotto. At Luini, on Via Santa Radegonda behind the Duomo, they have been frying them since 1949: there is always a queue, but it moves. The rest is eaten in covered markets and delicatessens: bread with mondeghili, the Milanese meatballs, and cutlet sandwiches. The Darsena and the market beside it are a good place to try several. The other addresses on this page come from imported data and are not a curated list.

One of these stops breaks up a walk nicely; add it to your route with the planner.

Your browser will ask to share your location

It's only used to work out how many minutes' walk you are from each place open right now.

  • We only use it to work out distances, and we don't keep it. If you share a walk, its starting point in the link is rounded to about 100 metres.
  • No account, no history, no notifications.
  • Rather not? Pick the city yourself: it works just as well.
