Cafés and bakeries in Milano

In Milan coffee is taken at the bar, and the bar is also the place for panettone and aperitivo. The Camparino in Galleria has been open since 1915 at the entrance to the Galleria, with a Campari Seltz as the ritual. For breakfast, the Pasticceria Marchesi is historic, founded in 1824, while Pavé, near Porta Venezia, is more contemporary. In winter, look for artisan panettone: it was born here, and pastry shops take it seriously. The other cafés on this page come from imported data and are not a curated list.

Your browser will ask to share your location

It's only used to work out how many minutes' walk you are from each place open right now.

  • We only use it to work out distances, and we don't keep it. If you share a walk, its starting point in the link is rounded to about 100 metres.
  • No account, no history, no notifications.
  • Rather not? Pick the city yourself: it works just as well.
