Attractions in Milano

Milan's sights gather around the Duomo, and the first walk is short. From the square you enter the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which leads to Piazza della Scala, or climb the Terrazze del Duomo among the spires. To the west, past the castle, the Arco della Pace closes off Parco Sempione. For today's Milan, Porta Nuova has the Bosco Verticale and Piazza Gae Aulenti. To the south, the Naviglio Grande is the evening walk. Many places are minutes apart, and the metro covers the rest.

The centre is easy to cover on foot; the planner puts the stops in order around the time you have.

Your browser will ask to share your location

It's only used to work out how many minutes' walk you are from each place open right now.

  • We only use it to work out distances, and we don't keep it. If you share a walk, its starting point in the link is rounded to about 100 metres.
  • No account, no history, no notifications.
  • Rather not? Pick the city yourself: it works just as well.
