Pizzerias in Palermo

Palermo's own pizza is sfincione, a thick, soft focaccia topped with tomato, onion, anchovies, oregano, caciocavallo cheese and breadcrumbs. You buy it by the slice in bakeries and rosticcerie. The pizzerias on this page, on the other hand, come from imported data and are not a curated list yet: many are neighbourhood and takeaway places, so read reviews before choosing. If you want something quick and local in the middle of a walk, try rosticceria: I Cuochini, near the Politeama, does bite-sized fried and baked snacks, and Ke Palle on Via Maqueda makes arancine. For more ideas, see the street food page.

Build the day with the planner and save pizza for the evening, near where you are staying.

Your browser will ask to share your location

It's only used to work out how many minutes' walk you are from each place open right now.

  • We only use it to work out distances, and we don't keep it. If you share a walk, its starting point in the link is rounded to about 100 metres.
  • No account, no history, no notifications.
  • Rather not? Pick the city yourself: it works just as well.
